Thank you for visiting my website.  I am a painter living in the West Country working in watercolour, acrylics and mixed media. My fascination with and treatment of light are the focus of my paintings, incorporating both traditional and impressionistic styles.  I find the technical challenges of watercolour very absorbing and get endless inspiration from the Quantock Hills in Somerset where I live.  You will see flashes of the vibrant colours of Australia in my work, alongside the softer tones of the British countryside.  My travels in Australia, Africa and North America have also informed my paintings.
